After using several crash pads, and often using tires, I can’t recommend these pads enough. The length, durability and the cushioning’s ability to stop a heavy log dead is gnarly.
They would be hard to store in a smaller space.

We have 3 pairs of these
They have taken much abuse such as in Arizonas strongest man with a 330 log for reps
They are now about 4 years old and looks like I will need to replace them soon as they are starting to fall apart.... Would still recommend as I expected this to be an item I would have to replace in a commercial gym setting

Got to use these when I played in the No Whine Garage in Rochester, NY.
So far I’ve used tires and other crash pads, but I think the length of these give them an edge over those. Just feels safer. From what I can see they are crazy expensive though.

Purchased in October of 2024 these AbMat Log Crash Cushions are fantastic! They are some of the best log crash cushions on the market and are priced competitively with other high end options. Don’t let the price dissuade you from considering these for your home or commercial gym. Besides, there are plenty of affiliate discount codes available to bring the purchase price of these log crash cushions down another 10 percent. These get used a minimum of one time a week in my home gym and have proven to be extremely durable. If you are training log or circus dumbbell I would absolutely recommend these log crash cushions.

Expensive for a reason, these are the best log crash pads out there. Enough said.

Very expensive but top of the line. Much nicer than doubling up crash pads to get the right starting height for log. These were one of my first purchases when I I was getting into strongman. No half measures here.

The price might catch you off guard on these, but these are truly worth it. Ab mat attention to detail and use of quality materials makes something as simple as a crash pad a nice experience. The foam catches the log and doesn’t bounce much at all. You can drop from overhead with confidence and little need to match where it’s going. I also use these for my CDB and they work well for that as well.

I got these for when I was trying to improve at log. Their size makes them ideal to catch any drops and can be used for many other things. They're firm but still add some cushion. Sadly while I don't "log" any longer, my kids have come to find a use case for these whenever they're down in the gym with me.

I have had these for several years in Massenomics Gym. Some people have treated them unkindly, and they have still held up really well. I really like the long shape of these. Kind of expensive, but otherwise everything has been great.
