Manta Ray Adjustable Bench

Manta Ray Adjustable Bench

Rogue’s Manta Ray Adjustable Bench introduces a new ladder-style, internal adjustment system that produces a clean aesthetic with fewer components than our Adjustable Bench 3.0 and even more incline/decline positions. Five seat settings (from -20 degrees to 30 degrees) and 10 back pad settings (0-85 degrees) give athletes 50 different potential configurations at their disposal, with laser-cut markings identifying each angle position in the steel tube. We’ve also developed a new front foot construction—shaped like a manta ray—which preserves the advantages of a 3-leg bench design while ensuring greater overall stability when in the decline position. A handle is built into this front foot as well, making it easier to elevate and roll the 140LB unit via the included set of premium caster wheels. An integrated storage bracket fitted with protective UHMW plastic prevents the frame and bench page from contacting the ground when stored upright.

This bench is an upgrade from the Rogue Adjustable Bench 3.0, I bought it on FB marketplace for $800 (without the foot catch) and I still feel I paid too much. But wanted the decline bench option. I did find a manta ray with semi-gloss that automatically comes with premium wheels and premium vinyl pad (versus the dense molding). Funny enough Rogue finally came out with the Adjustable Bench 3.0 that comes with a decline option.

An absolute tank of a bench. Terrific addition to a gym. It’s extremely heavy and a bit too expensive, but anykme would be happy with this addition .

Just got done putting this beast together, and immediately can understand the hype. It feels like sitting on some concrete, truly commercial grade. Coming from a budget adjustable bench I got with an all in one It feels like getting behind the wheel of a Lamborghini after driving a Pinto for the last year 😂

This bench is very heavy duty. This bench is built so well, it will last generations. It'll be a family heirloom. Despite it's weight, it has great maneuverability. Someone else mentioned it's there forever bench, I totally agree.

There isn't much to say about this bench. It's solid and heavy but very easy to move around. The textured pad feels good with excellant grip.

Very heavy, very stable bench. Built like a tank. Feels good for flat bench. Moving it around is easy once you get it picked up. It is heavy. Stores upright nicely. It’s a great looking bench. Nice powder coat.

You will be grinning ear to ear knowing you are the proud owner of the best bench in the world. 0 wobble. So grippy you'll think the bench has hands holding you in place. The wheels also make moving the bench around a pleasure instead of an extra workout despite it being 140 lbs. If you have the money to buy it, do it you won't regret it.

If I had to choose one bench (and one bench only) to use for the rest of my life, it would be the Rogue Manta Ray. All FID adjustable benches I’ve tried have produced some degree of wobble under load, especially in incline/decline positions - all with the exception of the Manta Ray. Not only does the bench remain stable while in use, but the wide/grippy vinyl also allows you to lock into position for exceptional control during heavy presses. In terms of movement and adjustments, modifying the degree of incline/decline via the ladder system is incredibly easy. With all of the great qualities of the Manta Ray it isn’t without its minor faults. The first is the weight, which could make maneuverability difficult for some trainees. With that being said, the felt weight is not as significant due to the wheel base taking the bulk of the load. The only other minor issue is the bench’s versatility. While many competitors have invested in a bench attachment ecosystem, the Manta Ray has just one attachment, and that’s the decline foot catch. It would be great to see Rogue expand this bench’s compatible attachments, which would likely be enough to increase my value rating.

Coming from a Rogue 3.0 bench that was a pain in the ass to move around, I wasn’t hopeful about this bench, but it turns out the weight distribution is much better! Female perspective and the weight has my stamp of approval. It’s a lovely bench, the pad is amazing. It’s a 12” super grippy pad. I would buy it again, but I would never choose the Satin Clear color again. I have a Satin Clear rack that I wanted to match but the metal pieces they use on the manta ray do not look good with the clear coat. Get one of the solid finishes if you are spending this much money and enjoy your beautiful tank of a bench. I have to kill one star for the price, but the engineering that goes into making this bench so sturdy but still weighted so well & excellent placement of UHMW on the adjustment ladder makes up for it.

Built like a tank. Will not move and can take any abuse. We beat the crap out of our equipment and this thing laughs it off. Price is ridiculous, but so is functionality and quality so, meh!
