I bought this on Amazon for $10. I figured what do I have to lose. I was shocked at the quality of it. It is a extremely solid piece and mind boggling that it was that cheap. I wanted to try it and see how I liked belt squatting before pulling the trigger on an expensive machine. Turns out I liked it and did end up upgrading. While this belt squat wasn't the best it did get me belt squat on a budget. Of course it could be better and thats why I upgraded.

Built heavy duty and came in as expected. Biggest downside for some might be the short length of the arm that has you hooking in while being very close to the weight stack. I am far from maxing this out, but for maximum weight thinner plates are the way to go

Not a fan of this budget belt squat. The angle is so limited that you can't load much weight, and the lever comes down on a sharp edge that scratches up your rack. While the build quality is heavy-duty, the overall functionality just isn't there. You’re honestly better off holding a heavy dumbbell between your legs as you'll get the exact same effect without the hassle of unbuckling a belt when you're completely gassed.
