PR-1100 Power Rack

PR-1100 Power Rack

The PR-1100 is a full-featured, versatile power rack with all the features a lifter could want and extensive compatibility for add-on attachments. It brings a 700-pound weight capacity to a compact footprint that can shrink even more in height by inverting the pull-up bar. This rack comes equipped with a multi-grip pull-up arch (traditional, neutral, close, and wide-grip, plus a standard 1.25” bar in front and a 2” bar in back). Numbered uprights make it easy to adjust barbell height, while plastic-lined J-cups protect the bar. Extended safeties can hold an extra barbell and accommodate exercises like rack pulls. Personalize the rack by choosing its color (metallic black, red, blue, or matte black). The PR-1100 is a solid start to a home gym by hitting all the necessities while remaining affordable.

I bought this 5 years ago and it has served me well. At the time it was the best reviewed budget option, and I am all about cheap. It is now a Franken-rack of attachments from Amazon, Titan, and Marketplace - none of which was intended for this rack - with no issues. As my sons get stronger than me (which one already is at 15) I may look into a heavier 3 x 3 with 1 hole spacing to bolt down.

I plan to be upgrading this to a 3x3 rack with 1 inch holes in the near future, but this has served it's purpose and I have never felt unsafe using it. Decent 2x2 rack if you're looking for a more budget oriented option. I have the integrated lat pulldown with low row and the weight storage posts -both from Rep. The weight storage posts when loaded up with weight do make it more sturdy and the integrated barbell holders are handy. The lat pulldown and low row work well. There appears to be holes ready to accept bolts for a foot plate of some sort for the low row, but rep doesn't sell one. The lat pulldown and straight bar cable attachments it comes with are not very good. It would be nice to have the option of not including any attachments in exchange for a lower price. Finding quality attachments for a 2x2 rack can be challenging. Hole spacing is also quite far apart and not ideal.

Bought this to get my home gym started because it had a great price point for my first rack. Overall I like it, gets the job done. There is some wobble with re-racking heavier weights but nothing crazy.

Bought this during 2020 and knew nothing about power racks. It's been almost 6 years and its help up great, scuffs here and there. The lat pulldown/low row makes this rack much better and paired with the flipdown safety and leg rollers, you can lock yourself in when doing lat pull downs. I wish they made a footplate for the low row. The hole spacing is meh, they should have just went with 2 inches instead of 3.

Bought this as my first rack intending to upgrade. Then Rep added strap safeties and flip down safeties, which increased the usability for me. There is some wobble, but it is still a functional rack for me.

I bought this rack for my sister. It's a nice budget friendly rack with a few accessories made for it. The downsides to this are you're really limited to 3rd party attachments, the build quality isn't the best, and the spacing of the holes is not idea. However hard to beat if you're on a budget and don't care for all the bells and whistles.
