Replica Dinnie Stone Handles

Replica Dinnie Stone Handles

Cerberus Dinnie Stone Handles are a replica of the ring handles and the same pickup height of the actual Dinnie Stones. They are not just standard circular shapes (like some manufacturers sell as “Dinnie Stone Handles”) - they have been made as close as possible to the two different handle shapes on the real stones. They will allow you to build up the both your strength and pain tolerance. You will also be able to practice and improve your figure and hand placement as well as grip technique. Because these come with specifically designed loading pins you also get the correct pick up. You can improve your lift and perfect your technique whether you want to straddle the stones, side-by-side lift them or even take them for a walk like the famous man himself Donald Dinnie - our handles will get you ready for the challenge!

Built like an absolute tank. By all accounts the most accurate replicas available which is a plus. Pricing seems a bit extreme given it's 2 loading pins and 2 rings though. Won these in HGC.

If you feel like the skin on your hands and the nerves in your thumb are especially in need of being punished, this is the best way to do it.

I won a pair of these in the GarageGymCompetition and do not train with them often. They are built incredibly well. Then handles are more comfortable than rings from Rogue. My only gripe is the pin to secure the handles. I replaced mind with homemade mag pins (bolts with magnets glued on). They work great and make weight changes much easier during training and competition.

This is one of my favorite pieces in my gym, just because of the coolness factor of it. Is it the most practical for training, not unless you're planning a trip to Scotland. Is it the coolest piece in your gym, yes even if you don't plan on going to Scotland any time soon! The one bummer for me is most of my plates are bumpers, making the max loading weight 190 and 180 on each side. I have to step out of my cozy home gym and go to a place where we all fear: the commercial gym!! regardless, awesome piece of gear that if you've got spare funds, a very cool addition to any home gym

Updated review: I can now quite confidently say these are the best training tool if you plan to lift the real Dinnie Stones. Very accurate rings that make the real thing feel familiar. TLDR: I like these, but replace the attachment pins with McMaster Carr 1/2” x 2” ring detent pins, PN 98320A500. Review: From my decently extensive research, these are the best Dinnie Stone handles available, and certainly their accessibility and accuracy is appreciated by those training for the actual stones. These have very accurate shapes and diameters, especially when compared to others (like the rogue rings). These are improved in my opinion by putting an AbMat sled spacer at the bottom before you load plates, and by replacing the pins that hold the rings on with quick detach/detent pins. I’d take off half a star for this if possible, but that’s semantic. Love these, and will probably update this review after my trip to Scotland.

Excellent for what they are - training tools for the legendary Dinnie Stones. I love these and bring them out from time to time and train. New time you have a holiday get together, call the gang outside and have a little grip strength competition.

I've never lifted the actual dinnie stones, but I imagine they still hurt as much as these do. Good replicas but they're really only good for one thing, so the value can't be that great.

Perfect for training Dinnies, or max pain tolerance in your thumbs. Mine were coated in oil when I got them which was weird. But it washed off fine. A bit annoying to take the rings off to load the weight, but that’s what you have to deal with to train the the best way possible! Low score for value because they’re only good for one thing. But that being said nothing else could do why they do. Definitely a special piece of equipment and happy I own it.

Awesome training tool of training for Dinnie stone. The cotter pins you have to remove each time you add weight are a pain. Won in the garage gym competition in 2024
