Rubber Olympic Bumper Plate

Not bad budget option. Have held up well over the past year.

These Cap bumper plates have been great for my starting set. They have held up well over a year of training. My only real complaint is the awful smell when you first get them. I suggest opening outside, wiping clean, and letting them off gas for a few days before coming in. I'm now in the process of upgrading to Rogue over time and will try to sell these eventually.

Decent starter/ budget option. The 25 and 45 lb plates have held up well for 6 months. The 10s don't get used much, but haven't lost they're shape. A step up from Amazon no names, you need heavy things to grow, these fill the bill.

The 10s can bend just from the weight of the barbell sometimes which can be annoying. I have the 25s as well and those have been great so far. Dropped them a few times and haven’t busted yet. If you need some bumpers just to get started with some Olympic lifting these will work but might consider upgrading in the future.

Another thing worth noting is the design makes them slightly harder to grip than some other plates that have raised edges or more ergonomic cutouts. It’s not a deal breaker, but something to be aware of if you move plates around frequently. Overall, these are good, budget-friendly bumper plates. If you're building a home gym and want extra weight without spending a lot of money, they’re a reasonable option. Just understand that with the lower price, you are getting a more basic plate with fewer premium features.

I bought these to use while I decide what quality plate set I want to purchase. The 45's and 25's are good. The 10's started warping almost immediatly. The 15's followed soon. I repurchased another set of 10's in the upgraded pro style and they only lasted about a month before they started warping. At the end of the day they still work they just look horrible.

Have a decent amount of the “competition” bumpers & for the price, they’re a solid option. when starting the gym the plates were a “weight is weight” choice so I could focus on getting other things for the gym. will probably consider upgrading them in the future, but in no rush to do so as they’ve been good thus far. purchased them on Amazon for nearly $1 / lb at the time

I picked up some of the CAP "competition series" bumpers for my mom's gym. They're less greasy than some of the other cheap plates out there, but they do still stink. The color they're molded in looks pretty nice, but the painted text looks pretty cheesy.

I have the "pro" version of these with the exposed metal hub and they're a great value. I don't drop plates, but these are my go to for deadlifting and they work well for me

Never dropped them and not sure how they'd hold up if I did.
