Schisler Eagle Head Vintage Weight Plates
One of the most polarizing weight designs—love them or hate them, they’re unforgettable. With a bold, appealing design, well-cast with a perfect balance of a deep-dish and compact footprint, these plates stand out. Despite being imported, their striking design wins over many collectors.

Distinct profile, these are a great entry point to vintage collecting.

To me these are one of a kind. The color is unique and the eagle puts it over the top. The only downfall is they were produced overseas.

Popular deep dish vintage weights with a really cool Eagle Head design. They are definitely collectible and popular, but there are enough of them floating around that the prices aren't too outrageous (yet). They were released in the 1980s with a black, gray or blue finish. They can be obtained on the secondary collectors market for around $400-500 for a pair of 45s, or you can hunt your local FMP relentlessly and try to snag a pair from a widow who doesn't know what they are. Good luck!

One of the first plates that made me fall in love with vintage plates. Such a cool and distinct design. Only needing the 45s to finish out my collection.

These scream MERICA even though they were made overseas. My first "wild find" for my vintage weight collection.
