SML-1 Rogue 70" Monster Lite Squat Stand

SML-1 Rogue 70" Monster Lite Squat Stand

The Rogue SML-1 Monster Lite Squat Stand combines elements from the 70” stands of our standard S-Series and Monster line to create a versatile hybrid unit. The uprights are constructed from the same 3x3” 11-gauge steel tubing as the Monster SM-1, but with the 5/8” hardware and Westside hole spacing of the S-1. Equally well suited to a small garage gym or large-scale weight training center, the SML-1 Squat Stand stands six feet tall and operates within an efficient 48"x49" footprint. It’s an American-built squat stand as dynamic and durable as many power racks, available at an affordable price.

I was using a pretty small basement room with low ceilings, and this was the only quality rack I could find that would fit at the time. I definitely lucked out, because this has turned out to be an amazing rack. Sturdy and secure, but not impossible to move if you need to. I added the HR-2 half rack conversion kit, and put plate storage pegs on the rear uprights, and now it’s an absolute tank for its size. I have zero complaints about it.

I used to have this squat rack, which I converted into a 4-post mini 70” rack. It served me well for several years. I wanted something bigger with more room (since I moved my new gym into my garage). I also went from 5/8 to 1 inch holes since it allows for more attachment options.

I love this squat stand. I am a Rogue fan boy anyway and this piece does not disappoint. I purchased it with the spotter arms and feel very confident whether I am squatting or bench pressing. It is rock solid and a good value despite the high retail price.

Working with limited hight and budget this was a great option. The safety arms work great. Have failed multiple squats over 500lbs and never felt unsafe which was my only worry when purchasing it.

Solid squat stand, good value for a 3x3 that can fit in spaces with height constraints. There is some side to side sway on the uprights with heavier weights, but it's solid. For most people it's probably worth getting the safety spotters as well - especially if you're going to bench in it.

I have enjoyed this rack thus far. The wheels are a great added bonus, as I frequently move it around, and it’s light enough to do easily.

Great sturdy stand for my low basement ceiling. Has WS hole spacing. I added safety spotter arms to safely bench/squat heavy when training alone. It’s taken a beating for the past 6 years and it still is sturdy as hell.

This is a great way to get into a 3x3 system without giving up the space. No need to bolt and still get the WS spacing. Great for low ceiling locations as well.

I like this rack cause you can move it around easily and even take it outside on a nice day. That is, if you like to press outside. I like it a lot for press and bench setup.

Thing is built like a tank and will last forever. Squat stands are great for starting a home gym. 70 inch is a little short so if you wanna do pull up’s might want to think about that.
