Super Bench PRO V2

At one time I could only lift in my tiny apartment. There wasn't a single door frame there capable of holding a pullup bar without being destroyed (one valiantly sacrificed itself in order to save the others). Upon research, I found out there was a bench that could actually hold a pullup bar, and Coop said it worked pretty well. I found the Super Bench Pro on marketplace with the pullup, dip, and decline attachments for only $200. It absolutely killed it as a modular pullup station in the time I needed it for that. As a bench for pressing though, it's hit or miss. I've come to learn more about the company NICKEL-AND-DIMEMASTER over the years as I've now put more than $200 back into the bench. It came with the Pro pad with the double widths, but it was pretty stiff and not very grippy. The hybrid grippy pad that now exists is much, much better and mandatory if you don't have it. The thicker seat pad also helps the seat attachment, which I think works better than people give it credit for. I also got the grippy decline roller attachments to replace the disgusting open cell foam that feels like a sweaty sponge on your legs. I had to buy a 3D printed attachment from etsy to stand it up without wearing out the pad; this was before Ironmaster finally came out with one. Funny to think previous versions charged extra for a handle and wheels, each sold separately! All told, I do think it does one thing better than all adjustable benches to this day: decline work. The bench is totally flat with no seat; perfect for decline situps, hanging upside down, decline bench, etc. For the price I got it for, it'll always have a place, though I am excited to get a better dedicated flat bench.

It’s a good bench, but I can’t get past how damn ugly this thing is. Could never own it simply because of that.

I can't call it on this bench. I love it, I use it all the time. I also get irrationally frustrated with that "seat", and the amount of innovation left on the table here. It's so easy to use though, it remains in my top 5 benches to recommend.

Overall solid bench. When considering what bench to buy, I wanted something that was built well, was easy to move and store, offered multiple adjustments and could take attachments. This bench ticks every box. The vinyl is just the correct amount of sticky, foam is firm, but still comfortable. The adjustment mechanism gives you more room for rows, whether that be cable or bar related. The quirky seat is not ideal for certain movements, but is manageable. If you want a good quality bench that is light, solid, easy to store and family friendly, this could be the bench for you.

I went from a rogue 3.0 to this and it's great. The adjustability, weight, attachments and overall functionality are all top notch. People bitch about the seat but I don't mind it at all. I did the swap to a rep seat pad and sure it was a little better for seated military but got in the way for incline work. I ended breaking the rep seat by accident and never bothered to put on another one. The picture I attached is with the rep seat. The pop pin style with the foot lever makes life so much easier to adjust but also when it comes time to move the bench as the back pad is always locked it so you can easily lift the entire bench unlike a ladder style. It's extremely stable for everything. I use it for dips and abs as well and I'm over 260lbs and it works great.

Pretty happy with it, great padding and I can see why people love it. Super light and easy to move around. I can say that I do love using this for 99% of things but I can see an advantage to having a standard adjustable bench too that just always has the seat on it. I find that this has made me use my flat bench less, but I am still tempted to add another adjustable bench.

I'm exceedingly happy with this bench. This was my first upgrade from the cheapo Amazon option, and it is serving me well. I went for the IM bench because of the large attachment ecosystem. It's well built and light, and I would buy it again in an instant. The seat angle thing that comes up in many reviews happens not to bother me. I just tend not to put the seat on until around 45 degrees (e.g. I generally incline bench at a lower incline without the seat on there), and at higher inclines it's less of an issue. One gripe I do have is that the seat positions are numbered, but the numbers aren't on the same side of the bench as the foot pedal you press down, which is the one I always use. would love to have seen the numbers be on both sides.

I love how versiatile and unique this bench is But like many, im not a huge fan of the seat angle being fixed. Having the ability to use this with so many attachements though does make this a really versatile home gym piece and is actually what i recommend to many who dont have a large training space.

I got this bench as an upgrade from my REP AB-3000, and I've gotta say it was worth while. It's light weight yet stable, stores vertically which I think is a must these days, and easy to maneuver around. I find the bench to be of a good quality, especially for home use, and very versatile. In the future I would like to see welded feet instead of the rubber end caps, and bigger better wheels for rolling it around. Overall I find it to be a great bench and I look forward to adding some attachments in the future and using it for years to come.

I’ve owned the V1 Ironmaster Super Bench Pro for the past four years, and overall, it’s been a great bench. There’s a lot to like about it—but there’s also one key issue that keeps it from being perfect. For the price, certain aspects of the build quality don’t fully match expectations. Some stitching has started to come apart over time, the foam feels a bit cheaper than it should at this price point, and a few attachment design choices could be improved. When you’re paying premium money, you expect premium details, and that’s where it falls slightly short. That said, if we’re strictly talking about performance, versatility, and overall utility, this bench is extremely hard to beat. The attachment ecosystem is excellent, it’s compact, highly adjustable, and incredibly functional for a home gym setup. From a training standpoint, it delivers. Despite the minor quality complaints, I’ve loved using this bench and haven’t felt the need to replace it in four years. That probably says more than anything else. Bottom line: not flawless for the price, but in terms of performance and versatility, it’s one of the best options out there.
