T-15LB Technique Bar

T-15LB Technique Bar

Fully machined and assembled at the Rogue factory in Columbus, Ohio, the T-15LB Technique Bar features a 28MM bare aluminum shaft with dual Powerlifting and Olympic knurl marks. With this design, we’ve also spaced the collars at the same distance as an IWF standard competition bar, giving athletes the ability to maintain proper grip position as they progress from a light bar to a Men’s or Women’s weightlifting bar.

This is agreat bar for kids, wives who don't want to lift super heavy or even for curls. I like having different weight bars in my gym and this is a no nonsense, if slightly too expensive, bar.

It’s a perfect bar for kids, beginners, or anyone who just needs a lighter option that is still rackable. That said - this isn’t a be-all-end-all solution. It’s a beginner bar. It doesn’t have to be great. It isn’t going to see big weight. I can’t point you to the better value but I’m positive it has to exist. If not for a deal I got I wouldn’t have this bar in my space.

I have the T- 5kg, which is a $230 bar. Rogue offers a 15lb version for $165 and Titan has a 15lb one for $114. So that’s why I only have this one star for value - from a monetary standpoint. Along with the 5 and 10lb technique plates, It has great value for me, along with their War bar for flexibility and warmup. It also is helping my 7th grader and Sophomore in HS to develop proper snatching, and clean & jerk technique. It’s has a bare aluminum construction with two precision needle bearings in each sleeve. It has Olympic knurl marks and IWF standard spacing marks between the collars. So it’s built exceptionally well for a technique bar and performs well. I doubt there would really be any perceptible difference with a less expensive bar with brass bushings instead of the needle bearings used in this version. So you are likely better off spending 1/2 and going Titan perhaps.
