Tricep Rope

Cheap and effective tricep rope. Really no reason to spend more on a basic attachment than this

Classic tricep rope. If you've ever been to a gym, you've used one of these. Docked a point because one of the ends has come off it when doing rows, and I'm not even that strong yet.

They could be a little more comfortable with the plastic pieces on the bottom. But other than that it works just fine.

Over all I’m content with this Tricep Rope. It is not my favorite version of this attachment I’ve used. The old beat up and super soft ropes in the last gym I went to was my favorite. This feels more like a nylon rope vs a fiber/soft rope. The nylon feel allows it to get a little slick during hot workouts where you might have some sweaty hands. It’s pretty firm and not soft at all, but like I said. It gets the job done. There is a little “cut” in the rope that has been worn into the rope by the bracket/attachment point (you can see it frayed in the picture I uploaded). I don’t feel like it will fail because of it, and I am contemplating maybe replacing it just to get a better one and maybe giving this one to a friend. I have other things I’d rather buy first, who knows…it works but I don’t love it.

Value rope. These work. Expensive options don’t work any better.

This is the OG tricep cable attachment. I know that they often end up frayed in a busy commercial gym, but in a home gym context, they practically last forever. It's cheap and durable, but there are better options available these days, ergonomically speaking. Still, I love having this bad boy around and do return to it occasionally.

Amazon Tricep Rope is great tricep and bicep exercises. This is tried and true peice is equipment.
