I grabbed these at HGC, as I needed extra collars for training athletes. They are easy to use and magnetic. I do prefer other options over these but they get the job done.

I bought these thinking they would be a one handed operation but with the spin of a sleeve they require two hands anyway, they won’t stay put on something that rotates like a plate loaded leg extension, They are cool but I don’t use them much anymore.

These were my favorite collars until I used the keppi open collars. I have the OD Green and the color looks nice. Knurling on outside is good touch.

I like these collars but I'd say a draw back that nobody mentions is your hands get filthy from the metal/paint/dirt on the sleeves of the barbells. You have to hold the sleeve while you twist these collars to tighten and loosen them. I like them, they look nice, they work well, they are magnetic, but I rarely reach for them when looking for a collar.

These are easily the sexiest collars on the market. They just don't get much sweeter looking than these. They offer a variety of colors, the knurling is a great touch, and integrated magnets is pretty much a requirement for me in collars at this point. The magnets in these are considerably stronger than the ones in the Keppi Open collars. That being said, I will generally reach for the Keppis first and will use these as a secondary collar if I'm doing super sets or have multiple stations setup at once. I will say my wife prefers these over the Keppis.

I will start off by saying that they beat the hell out of a spring collar and many cheaper options. That being said I use these as my daily driver and trust them for the most part. I can attest that they have yet to completely fail to lock down but there have been plenty of times that I have had to re twist the locks down after a set. They look great! I have the OD Green version and think they look phenomenal but I definitely would ensure they are locked fully.

I will start of by saying I got these from a marketplace pickup for free. These collars definitely have their pros, easy to use, fit on the bar snug, and magnetic. Being magnetized is so when switching your plates just throw it on the rack and you're done. I agree with many other reviews and they will come loose if doing crazy movements like cleans or deadlifts. They have come loose on me before when doing bench, I accidentally hit my jcup on the way up and they came loose. They stayed on the bar and I was able to finish the set. That being said I would not recommend buying these new with the current price tag, if you can find them very cheap on a sale or marketplace then I would pick them up.

These TwistLock Pro Barbell Collars are a great idea with okay implementation. The concept is solid — quick twist to lock and unlock — but in practice they work loose during sets pretty easily. To tighten or loosen them, you have to grab the sleeve to keep it from spinning with the bar. With some fine tuning and a Version 2, these could be really good. As they are now, they’re functional but not as reliable as I’d like for heavy lifts. Overall, I wanted to like them more than I do.

It’s really nice that these are magnet so you can just slap them on the rack. They also have a nice aesthetic with the knurling and being able to choose the color you want. I initially did not like how it latched on, but after a week it was pretty much second nature. The normal clamps from time to time snag your finger and that can ruin the day if you get it bad enough. I typically just twist it on with one hand with no issue, but there are times where I do grab the sleeve to keep it from spinning, but again that’s not something I even really think about. They definitely are not going to stay clamped down as some of the other collar options, but it’s sufficient for my needs, especially for bench and squat. Even with deadlifting, I don’t have much of an issue, but it seems like others do. Maybe if you are dropping them at the top of the movement, but I just lower the bar back to the ground. They are definitely one of Titans coolest products. They also are $70ish which is on the higher end, but definitely not outrageous. Fun purchase.

The collars look and feel awesome. I use them all the time for squats and they’re stored on my SSB. If you use them for deadlifts (or anything where the bar hits the ground) of more than 3 reps, they’ll move quite a bit. It’s disappointing but they are still very cool and work well as long as the barbell isn’t hitting the ground.
