I own a few pairs of Iron Grips include 50 lb, 40 lb, 22.5 lb and 20 lb. The lighter pairs are branded as 24 Hour Fitness. It is hard to describe how great these handles feel. It is a combination of diameter and knurling. Also the shape keeps them from rolling away. I have no concerns with bending these handles (unlike my vintage York). I will definitely keep buying anything that pops up in the secondary market at a reasonable price.

Great dumbbells but super expensive especially when you start getting into the larger sizes, on the plus side, they do make some of the largest rubber coated dumbbells available

Great option for dumbbells and would be top of my list if I were in the market. These have a great knurling and don't roll everywhere, but the corners also are sharp enough to cause issue when transferring from your thigh or other areas.

These are awesome dumbbells. If space and money were no issue, I would have a full set of these. I love the way they don't roll around like the circular ones do, I love the knurling on them - not too harsh, not too passive. There are more expensive highly desired dumbbells out there but to me these are the best. If I won the lottery, these along with a few prime machines would be my first purchases.

Very common commercial gym dumbells. The hex type pattern is nice so they dont roll around, but it has enough straight sides on it that you can still roll them if you need to. Expensive but great quality

I used these for many years at a lifetime fitness. These are absolutely fantastic dumbbells. Varied grip diameter for different weights. I like the the Hex type design over pure round urethanes.

Using these at my colleges recreation center. The handles are thick and the weights get beefy quick. For all the abuse they get at a recreation center they seem to be holding up pretty well.
