This is a cheap and somewhat quiet walking pad. It does not have a rise or angle. I use it daily and have really enjoyed it. It has both a digital display and app, both of which track total distance, time, and calories. The app communicates with Google Fit, so it is easy to sum up your total steps both on and off the walking pad. Google Fit, in turn, sends the data to apps like MacroFactor. The walking pad requires little maintenance, just a little oil under the track. It absolutely does what it needs to and does it fairly well. There are a couple nits with the performance and build quality. The tread itself is somewhat narrow and I do periodically step off it, causing the tread to briefly catch. I have also taken steps at odd angles which seem to make the tread catch for a brief moment. I am 6'1" and the length of the treadmill is sufficient, but I could imagine that anyone much taller might have some trouble with longer strides. Last, the app will periodically disconnect from the treadmill, which usually requires manually restarting the treadmill. For the price, it is fantastic and a workhorse.

This is a $200-250 walking pad that goes up to 6ish mph. When the snow started falling, I really needed to find a way to get some steps in and most treadmills are just big, heavy, expensive coat hangars. This thing weighs 40lbs and sits in a corner. If it breaks…it was friggin $200. So what. It does the job when the weather sucks and I can’t get out for walks. Downsides…it has a 265lb weight capacity and the pad surface is narrow and potentially too short for those with really long strides. But for my 6’1” body, it is sufficiently long. The narrowness has been an issue sometimes if I get distracted and I’ll catch an edge and stumble. But I’m not asking much of this thing and it was exactly what I needed. So far (3 months) it has held up very well to this 225lb guy getting his 8-12k steps every day on it.
