I honestly love this thing, it’s a tank that I love to use. That being said due to the versatility I wish I had instead purchased the mutant metals ultimate dip attachment. If I were a hardcore bodybuilder I could see the tiny adjustments being useful, but the handles lose the adaptability I’m seeing in the UDA.

I got this over the mutant metals version mostly because it was available used for a great discount off the new price. I didn’t think the different angles up or down would matter much, but I was glad I ended up with this version as the angled up option is a little easier on my shoulders. If you have a similar issue, maybe the Velocidor is better for you than the Mutant Metals UDA. I do still use the traditional flat angle, and occasionally did the narrowest setting, but my go to is the up angle for sure. If you don’t have shoulder issues, this may also be the best option since you can emphasize different muscles a little easier by changing the vertical angle. I can’t do too many dips with the angle down, but they so feel different. You do of course lose dual functionality of the handles, but at most long handles like that, at least for me, would only be useful for a lat pull down bar if you get the arc attachment, and is one hell of a heavy lat bar.

I got this over the MM UDA because I thought I’d change the angles frequently, I don’t. Once I found the placement that felt the best I never change it. This thing is built like a tank, which is a pro and a con. It’s a pain to move around and at least on a 30” rack there isn’t much of a great solution for permanent storing in the rack.

Super heavy and sturdy. I love that I can make the bars go parallel as well. The adjustability is awesome on this thing, but it is a pain to move on and off the rack

This piece is a tank. Due to its weight prefer to keep it on my rack so being able to remove the handles helps. I wish it came with a second hitch pin, but the knurled thick handles are great for a smooth dip.

This thing is nuts. Very cool and awesome design. I have a MM UDA and I do think that is better in most ways. Rogue has made something that can be moved, but is so overbuilt and big that it is very hard to move around and adjust. The angle handles is cool, but then you cant have multiple uses for the handles (like with the MM UDA). It looks cool and you should give it a try sometime, but I see no good reason to get this over the MM UDA.
