WRIGHT Black Fat Bar

WRIGHT Black Fat Bar

The WRIGHT Fat Bar is designed to push your grip strength, forearm development, and overall upper-body power to the next level. Made proudly in the USA with premium American steel, this bar features an extra-thick 2″ shaft that forces your hands, wrists, and arms to work harder with every lift. Unlike many traditional fat bars, the WRIGHT Fat Bar is equipped with spinning Olympic sleeves, allowing for smoother lifts during heavy pulls, cleans, and presses—reducing wrist torque while still challenging your grip and stability. Finished with a durable black powder coat, this bar is made to withstand serious training environments without compromise.

Wright Equipment Fat Bar is 84” and 51mm diameter, Cerakote, knurled, both powerlifting and olympic markings, no center knurl on shaft. Rotating bushing, chrome Olympic 16.4” Sleeves (must request chrome otherwise comes standard in black cerakote). Weighs 60lbs and is priced at $315 Out of a host of other Fat Bars/Axle Bars, the Wright Fat Bar is what I settled on and happy with that decision. I’m not into any strongman comps so I preferred rotating sleeves. I have used it and will rotate it in for use with: OHP, cleans, clean and press, clean and jerk, deadlift, bench, bent over rows among other movements. It’s cerakoted, next to bare steel or stainless steel (which is my first choice), I prefer cerakoted bars. The knurling is equal/identical to the cerakoted Rogue Ohio Bar and since I will do Olympic lifts with it, having the dual markings is valuable as well. The 16.4” chrome sleeves have a smooth bushing and rotate nicely and they do not have excessive play. It’s a beefy bar at 60lbs and is well made. Even though it is on the more expensive side for fat bars at $315, I am very pleased with its build and function. I love the feel of the wider bar, just like on my Titan EZ Fat curl bar and with my Prime Kaz handles.
