York Vintage BEAT ARMY Plates

I am beyond stoked to own a piece of history like this. The weights themselves are exactly what you’d expect from old Yorks; meticulously accurate and great look. This was me dipping my toes into the vintage scene and will probably be the first of many to come.

These are very high quality York Barbell milled 45s. Mine are completely accurate and have been perfect for every lift I have done with them. I come from a military family full of Naval history and these plates are something very special to me. To have a pair of these plates from the Naval Academy is a massive honor. I would stock my gym with tons of them if I could.

Highly accurate milled era York plates that were custom made for the weight room at the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. In the spirit of the eternal Army/Navy rivalry, the navy blue plates are emblazoned with a bright yellow BEAT ARMY. As a navy veteran, I absolutely had to own a pair... and then wound up getting the full set, all in original navy blue paint. The change plates for this set are the same as the regular York milled change plates, they're just painted in the same blue as the 45s.
