On a work trip I got the opportunity to use this. I have never felt my lats engage on any machine like they did on this. I’d love to have one but the price is a little bit crazy.

I had the opportunity to use this machine while on a work trip and it is phenomenal. I didn’t have any of the issues the other user said with tension at the bottom and it was buttery smooth. I will say it is only marginally better than the TOG version which isn’t enough to justify the price difference.

The TOG Multi-Flight is probably the most unnecessary machine I have in my garage. It's also never going anywhere. I never thought I'd have such a specific machine and now it is a cornerstone of my training. I opted for the upgraded handles and pulleys which were probably not necessary but it is a nice to have. Recently, I got to use the Panatta machine on which this is cloned from and I have to say that, yes it is not as good as the Panatta. However, the margin of difference between the two machines is a lot closer than you would think. At a fraction of the price of the Panatta this thing punches well above it's weight class and is the better machine when cost is added to the equation.

I orginally purchased my RM-6 more than 8 years ago and I lucked into an upgrade to turn it into the FM-6 through a friend. While I agree that the new price is pretty high, I didn't have the same experience. The RM-6 was considerably cheaper and the upgrade cost to me was completely absorbed (and then some) by FB market flips. The machine itself has saved me considerable space in a two-car garage by eliminating the need for a stand alone functional trainer. Compared to the previous Inspire FTX, its exceptionally smooth and gives more than enough weight on outside and I'm yet to max the twin stacks on the inside. Knowing what I know now, I'd buy this even in today's market.
