Z Hyper

Z Hyper

The Rogue Z Hyper upgrades several features from our standard RH-2 Reverse Hyper machine, including a new bolt-together design (for easier portability), a beefed up 3x3” 11-gauge steel construction, and adjustable front handles (ranging from 2-14" from pad edge) that allow users of any size to custom-tailor their desired hand placement. Comparable machines on the market can cost more than $1,500, but the Z Hyper's efficient design makes it a uniquely affordable choice.

Fantastic build quality and a nice overall hyper. Ungodly heavy, and will not move regardless of how many pounds you throw at it. I honestly don’t see it at a huge advantage over the Titan stand alone unit at the price differential. You know it’s a space hog, but if you’re buying you’ve accepted that and also understand the value you’ll get out of leaning on it after sets, setting stuff on it, BS’ing around it, and using it the other 3% of the time

One of the best built RHs out there. Used this in many a facility and it's held up really well. Usually have to ask people to take their drinks or phones off it however in order to use it.

I prefer this over the RH-2. It is well built like all Rogue products. It’s big so you need space to accommodate it in a home gym. Other than that, it’s a good reverse hyper - stable, comfortable pad, and it’s tall so at 6’5” I can use it without issue.

I've had the Z-Hyper for about 4 years now. I got it used from a gym that was going out of business and it replaced the Westside Scout that I had prior. The thing is an absolute beast. It looked pretty much brand new when I got it used and it just takes all the abuse it wants, still looks brand new. I know lots of people joke about this thing being a table and whatnot, but it seriously corrected over 3 decades of back troubles for me. I'd sooner sell my rack before I parted with this one trick pony. And no, you can't curl with it or do rows. That's just stupid.

Great piece of equipment for any strength gym! The only reverse hyper that can be switched between roller and strap reverse hyper with rogue build quality. Recommend moving with a friend but once in place it DOES NOT MOVE. As a bonus the handles used are the same as the rml squat handles that can be used for hackfield squats!

I learned about this piece through Massenomics when they toured Jen Thompson's gym. While it is a great drink spotter and does a great job of whatever I want to get off the floor, it has done wonders for my lower back pain. I play golf and afterwards my back would always be tight. Since I've been using this machine the pain has all but gone away. The only downsides are it’s expensive and it takes up a ton of room.

The sturdiest drink spotter out there. Reverse hypers are a great tool. This thing is overbuilt and can handle a bit more weight on it.

This thing is a friggen tank. Make sure to build it in the final place you want it. Assembly takes surprisingly longer than I would have thought. It works very well. But at about $1,000 for a machine that pretty much does one thing, it's not a great value buy in terms of $ or space efficiency.
