About the Gym

Small 2.5'x8' (closed), 4'x9' (in use) corner of my bedroom that started out for rehabbing a rotator cuff tear. External rotation started with a 1lb dumbbell and moved up from there. As the rehab progressed my routine evolved to upper body focused routine. I started with the 55lb Trulap dumbbell set and upgraded it to the 92 lb set last fall. about 6 months ago I started working on lower body movement patterns and found the TRX and kettlebells to be useful for that. At the end of the year I joined a powerlifting focused gym because I felt I needed coaching and I don't have any room for a barbell (other hobbies take up all the normal suspects for space). That's been working very well. I go there three days a week and do upper body accessories from home one day a week plus movement work and shoulder rehab. Some new things coming. Selling some Kettlebells, ordered the FA adj KB. Upgrading the Trulap stand from G2 to G3. Going to sell the Hammer Strength Bench. Just ordered the Apex bench in stainless plus belt squat, Stryker Pad, Leg Developer, Hybrid Board. ordered a weight tree from REP and 260 lb plates from Fringe. I made cardboard cutouts and the stuff will fit. Also found some ball exercise ball wall mounts, and a few other things to help reduce clutter. Spent the morning reorganizing the Wall Control. I'll update pictures once things come in. Just finalizing what I want in Short bars (5' as 7' and 6' is not an option in my space) - thinking about Gungnir.
