About the Gym

Schlicht is a German word primarily meaning simple, plain, modest, or unpretentious. Schlicht Garage Strength is a barebones, sometimes dirty, strongman-focused garage gym that is equipped with everything you need to get strong and little else. Established in 2021, SGS was started with a Titan yoke, some attachments, a generic barbell, 300 lbs of iron plates, and a Cerberus Strength sandbag. Since then, the gym has grown to meet my needs and ever-evolving training interests, but it remains as modest as it was on Day One. I'm still using the same Titan yoke as my primary rack, but I've added more weight, bars, and most of the essential strongman equipment that you need to prep for a contest.
