These are great tube bands and the handles are better quality than some out there. My only complaint about tube bands is I wish they would run some sort of a safety cord through them since I’ve had others snap and nail my eyelid. A simple protected and lubricated Kevlar cord or something would just settle my nerves. So it’s safety glasses for the time being.

My go to bands for bench work. Nice quality bands and far better than Amazon cheap bands.

I lovingly call these my garbage plates. Not that they are garbage, just that I don’t have high expectations from them. Surprisingly enough most are very accurate. There are a ton of this mold made under different brands and I have found them mostly consistent. Last special I got on a set of 45’s and 25’s were not as accurate in the 45 pounders and the mold/coating was slightly different. I do not use these for benching so if they are off a pound or so it’s not a big deal on my plate loaded lat machine or my belt squat. The Fringe Mammoth belt squat is my main reason for these as they have a natural gap between plates and are a smaller circumference. So these don’t make you spread your stance to clear them as much.

It does a good job and the portability aspect is great. It isn’t going to hold it rock solid on a rack or any other smooth surface but it isn’t like it creeps in use a lot. Only wish Ancore would just stock some other lengths vs trying to go through a custom order. Some various sizes would be nice for strapping it to a tree or at least come out with a base mount that you can run a ratchet strap through to really open up some possibilities.

Works great. Like the Velcro Ancore mount, this can creep down an upright as well. I just stuck a pin under it to keep it from heading south.

I initially used these but after upgrading to quality bands it becomes very apparent how lower quality these are. They work but I found they just don’t hold up as well nor do they have the same resistance feel as a layered band has.
