The brush itself is fantastic although I have pinched myself with it getting overly aggressive when my bar starts to look a little too much like Tony Montana. What I want to relay is a customer service story. I ordered one of these with a green brush. The order went through, all was well, I was contacted by the company to inform me there was an inventory error and no such brush was available, however they sent me out a blue brush with a green replacement brush instead, they completely ate the cost of their mistake without being asked and gave me essentially a free refill, albeit a different color than ordered. They could have cancelled my order, or just subbed a different color and put it on me to order a replacement if I really cared about the color. To me, that’s a business being run by good people. 10/10 would recommend.

Great product from a great company. Makes it incredibly easy to clean off the entire bar without having to rotate the bar itself like with a regular brush. The interior brush insert is also replaceable for half the cost of the entire unit which is really nice.

Absolute no-brainer. A must-have for anyone interested in taking care of their equipment.

I wish they had other options instead of just nylon bristles but this is a great product. It cleans the barbells quickly and evenly. It is a quality product that every gym should have for maintenance.

Works very well.
Nice to have an immaculately cleaned shaft after a heavy push day.

This brush is amazing. Whether maintaining a barbell after a normal training session, or restoring a vintage barbell with years of chalk buildup, this brush makes quick work of it all. A MUST HAVE for any gym.
Pro tip - Barbell Rescue's multi-purpose oil is expensive, but worth every penny. It doesn't leave an oily residue like 3:1 oil. It's become my go-to for all of my plates and bars.

Cleaning a barbell is not a 10 second experience that I do before putting it away rather than waiting until it’s horribly chalked up and I have to spend an hour with a toothbrush sized straight brush. Love this product. Must have for any gym

I love the barbell rescue brush!! I recently got into collecting vintage bars and weights and man, this thing has been huge in reducing time spent cleaning the shaft… let me rephrase. It’s been awesome in kicking rust off. If you combine it with 3 in 1 oil it really works. It made my York split sleeve usable until I have time to put it in OA and re blue it. If you don’t have one get it! Way better for your bar than just using chemical cleaners. I would also recommend getting the magnetic holder off Etsy and just giving it a home.

For the last few years, I’ve been the “toothbrush and 4-in-1 oil” guy, painfully cleaning barbells one knurl at a time hunched over looking like Sméagol from Lord of the Rings. The toothbrush method works great for small rust spots, but built-up chalk takes forever to clean. The Barbell Rescue Brush honestly cuts that cleaning time by more than half, especially when bringing old Facebook Marketplace barbells back to life.
I also really appreciate that the company sells replacement inserts. I hate throwing things away when a product still has plenty of life left and just needs a small replacement part. Nice to see a company make something well thought out instead of going the planned obsolescence route.
