I have the original 2 to adapter for the Ares. Added a swivel shackle to it for added flexibility. Cheaper options on Amazon that will accomplish the same functionality

Originally purchased and installed these on my PR-5000 for added stability. Ended up removing once I added the Ares attachment. Nothing wrong with quality or value. Just wanted to recapture a couple of extra feet of floor space

At the time a low cost kettlebell. Bought a few different weights. Quality was good for the price. No issue with using.

Have been using a few weeks. Overall very happy with results. Much easier to add and remove attachments. No concerns on strength.

Owned a previous generation of Marcy's Smith Cage with the same set-up. Purchased through DSG. The install needs an extra pair of hands. This was a center piece of my gym for several years. Overall, the build quality is great for the price point. The action was smooth on the pulleys, chest fly, and smith machine. The was some side-to-side movement on the smith machine, but not enough to affect the movement. Comes with a handful of attachments that includes J-cups and safety bars for barbell use outside the rack The bench with the preacher pad and leg extension/curl attachments worked well. The bench paddling was excellent. You are limited on how many weight plates can be added to the leg attachment. And again, there is some side-to-side movement withe leg attachment. I ended up giving away to a family member when purchasing a PR-5000. I do miss not having the chest fly, love that movement. This is a well-made machine that offers several exercises at a very attractive price point. Highly recommended for those budget conscience individuals who are looking to maximize functionality.

Great value collars. The build quality is solid as is the performance when measured against the cost.
