I ordered two pair of 28.5mm aluminum handles and modified the Cybex swivel handles along with the powerblock handles. Both had rubber handles that would get slick in the AZ summers. These are pretty passive but way better than the originals and cheaper when compared to alternatives. Not the intended purpose but have been worth it to me.

Brain gets 5 stars for customer service. I ordered an extension load pin when he was offering it on his site and he caught that it wouldn’t be compatible with this model. Saved us both time and money. The new versions have an eye bolt that aligns with the transformer pin holes instead of the welded arch that this model has. I haven’t used a newer model to know if the eye bolt makes a difference. This model is built like a tank and is about the size of horse stall mat especially if you use it for rows. I knocked it on performance for minor issues. Loading and unloading plates gets old but I was noticing that the weight pin would turn/slightly spin when using bands so it didn’t feel as natural as it did with just weights. I also added a pvc pipe inside the weight pin cause it would occasionally come of the guide rod when using lighter weights. Overall it’s solid addition to any gym.
