I went to the show room in Mississauga (Toronto) and got to try this.
This thing is super cool, a neat attachment, and offers resistance in a compact space. I very much like this, despite having no need for it.
Got these because I wanted to train Dinnies and duck walk. Relatively inexpensive and has held over 250lbs in plates in each hand.
but the paint is peeling, which is fine, but means I can’t give them a full 5 star.
My first yolk! I used it at Los Campeones in Sioux Falls. Was able to move some pretty heavy weight for my first time.
It was sturdy and moved well on the cement in the parking lot. I have no complaints.
The weather was great too!
Got to use these when I played in the No Whine Garage in Rochester, NY.
So far I’ve used tires and other crash pads, but I think the length of these give them an edge over those. Just feels safer. From what I can see they are crazy expensive though.
Hey so a battle rope is a battle rope is a battle rope innit?
I got this originally cuz my gym was small and it helped when my gym was outside.
But then it got chewed by mice. Which is wild. But ultimately these are hard, good cardio, and genuinely fun when you have the room to do it. It’s why I still have them. I want to use them I just need the room.
The first collars I ever had that weren’t springs. These do their job well. A little pain to slide on and off but they are secure, strong, and reliable.
Got to use these when I was in the Mecca, Aberdeen! Tons of fun and taught by the master Megan Stone herself.
Got lots of people behind me as well to try them. I love rocks!!
