I had one of these for a little while that I bought used for about $300 and for that price it was a great first "functional trainer." The best thing about it was the leg press which I still miss to this day. It definitely had some cons though. The band-filled plates it used were light and easy to move, but were kind of annoying to get locked together. They were also corroding from age and weren't easy to replace. The machine was very easy to move around and stored pretty easily as well. The downside of being so light was that when I would do heavy high pulls from one arm the whole machine would start tipping and I needed to keep a kettlebell on the base to stop that. Sometimes the cams on the inside would come undone as well and would require a pretty annoying disassembly to get in there and fix it. If I was a smaller lifter doing lighter weights I think I would have kept this thing for a long time but if you are over 5'10" and fairly strong I would skip this one.
