I love this leg press. It's incredibly well made, very compact, and functions extremely well. It feels very smooth in use. It does come with a removable "stopper" on the underside of the stainless rail, meant to keep you from getting trapped. I removed it, as I would would sometimes tap this on my deepest, ATG, quad-stretching reps. It comes off easy with a couple bolts. The back pad and footplate are both adjustable to your desired angle. There are also two places for you "rack" the trolley, depending on how tall you are, or how long your legs are. The amount of space for plates is enormous. But you won't need as many, because it is a 45 degree machine. Many (maybe most?) commercial leg press machines are on a 30 degree angle. This means 100 lb on this machine will feel comparable to 140 lbs on a 30 degree machine. This means fewer trips walking around with 45s.
The machine is a bout $4,500 to get it shipped from Sweden to the US, but check with Gymleco for current quotes. The machine is great, but pricey. I wouldn't say it's maximal value, but it's one of the very best options I've seen for a very compact unit, if price isn't a concern. See my profile for pics of the Gymleco leg press next to the Gymleco hack squat.
