The Rogue Donkey has been an awesome addition to my gym. I use it almost every lower body day, at the very least as part of my warm-up, and it’s become a staple in my routine. The versatility is a huge plus—being able to do reverse hypers, GHD work, and more on one piece makes it worth the space. It’s built like a tank and feels incredibly stable during use. One of the biggest benefits for me personally is that it actually helped improve my sciatica. Regular use of reverse hypers on this has made a noticeable difference in how my lower back feels. Overall, this is a high-quality, multi-purpose piece that I get a ton of use out of and would definitely recommend.

The Lat Tower | 10 - 300 LB Selector was my first selectorized piece in my home gym, and it completely got me hooked on the convenience of a weight stack. Being able to just move a pin and go makes a huge difference compared to plate-loaded setups. Performance-wise, it works great. The cable is smooth and the 300 lb weight stack is more than enough for my needs on both lat pulldowns and rows. It’s been reliable and does exactly what I need it to do without any issues. I don’t mind sitting on the floor for rows, although I’ll admit I get a little jealous of setups like the Fringe Sport Walrus with a proper seat—though I’ve heard those have their own issues as well. Overall, this is a great piece for the price and a solid introduction to selectorized equipment.

The TAWERET 1:1 Cable Ratio Leg Extension and Curl Machine (first gen) has honestly exceeded my expectations for the price. The strength curve is excellent—smooth and consistent through the entire range of motion, which is exactly what you want for both leg extensions and curls. I actually replaced a Temple of Gainz selectorized leg extension/seated curl with this, and surprisingly, this feels better in use. The tension stays more consistent and it’s easier to really dial in the movement. For a budget-friendly piece, it performs way above its price point. There is a little bit of wobble and some minor jankiness here and there, but nothing that has actually affected performance in any meaningful way. Overall, it’s a great value and a solid option if you want an effective leg extension/curl combo without spending a ton.

The Rogue Fitness Ohio Power Bar in black zinc was the first barbell I ever bought brand new, and overall it’s been a great experience. The knurling is excellent—aggressive enough to feel secure on heavy lifts without being overly harsh on the hands. It’s performed really well across squat, bench, and deadlift, and feels like a true power bar. That said, I have noticed a couple small issues after about 6 months of use. The end cap looks like it may have shifted slightly, and occasionally I feel a bit of movement when I start loading plates, which wasn’t something I expected. It doesn’t affect performance in a major way, but it does make me wonder if I might’ve gotten a slightly off unit. Overall, still a great bar with solid build quality and feel, but worth keeping an eye on those minor quirks.

The REP PR-5000 rack is hands down one of the best investments I’ve made for my gym. The price is honestly unbeatable for the level of quality you get. It’s extremely modular and makes it very easy to add attachments over time, so you can keep upgrading without replacing the whole setup. The build quality is top-tier and it feels rock solid during every lift. If you’re looking for a rack that can grow with you, this is it.
