I am a retired Teacher and Coach and currently a City Councilman here in New Castle, Indiana. I coached High School Wrestling for forty years and had good success. I have been involved in weight training since I was 13 years old (56 years ago as of now). My first exposure to iron was when I would visit my uncles house and look at his "Muscle" magazines. I started out with a Ted Williams Barbell set (Sears) and my bench as a board laying on a couple of bricks and I used two folding chairs as the standards to hold the bar. The next year I got an adjustable bench from Sears. It was rickety when you put much weight on it. Not long after that I was able to start working out in the High School Weightroom which would have been a major liability problem in today's world. Lifting took off with me and I trained to become a better wrestler, football player, and thrower. During my Junior year we got a York Olympic Set and a Universal machine. Those did make things better. That year I was able to Bench Press 200 pounds for 10 repetitions, Squat 300lbs for 5 reps and Deadlift 350lbs. When I got to college I was in Heaven at the Rec Center. There was almost no piece of equipment there that was not better than what we had at my High School. I have been training and studying training ever since.

These are amazing plates. They work really well and kind of you feel good just using something of quality. This is one of those cases where you will get what you pay for.

This is merely a space eater in my gym. I have used it very little and would recommend using the money you might spend on this for something more useful.

If you are going to have one this one is fine. I think they are all too expensive. This one works well. Range of motion is always an issue. the motion is fairly smooth.

This was a good machine when i bought it, but these types of machines have come a n long way. I needed to make some adjustments for fit. The padding is thinner and could br upgraded. I think it is just okay now.

Good machine for developing the Ab/Ad muscles. It does a good job. I am sure if you wanted to spend more money you could get something better. I actually like my multi-hip machine better.
