Grabbed one off of marketplace, still new in the tube and wrapped in the blue plastic for $100! Expecting it to get that beautiful patina over time while I take care of it with my barbell rescue brush. Love my bare steel bars! Even brand new this bar is a great value. I prefer this to the classic Texas Power Bar because it has less whip/bounce when squatting heavy. And it has less aggressive knurling. I find the knurling of the Texas bars to be a bit more than I like most times.

Bought my pair used-like new on marketplace. Super solid piece of equipment, and I love that they are 45 pounds. Makes the plate math easy. Two cons of them. 1. They ring a lot every time you finish a rep when they hit the floor and it gets kind of annoying. You can happen it though by adding felt or small bits of rubber to the inside of the wheels. 2. If you use these, or basically any wagon wheel, on a hollow axle bar, it will bend the bar over time.
