I'm using this hack squat rack attachment for a "wall mounted leverage squat machine". I built a platform box, mounted a 30" piece of 3x3 tube steel from F&F Steel to the wall and now I can use the squat attachment and fold it out of the way when not in use. Seems to work great so far. The Hack Squat did bend at the hinge point as all the reviews said it would, but it doesn't seem to affect anything. I have only loaded 230 lbs so far... works great!

Not fancy or shiny, but rather valuable tools that I'm not afraid to use and abuse. I started out with a 5-30 pound set. Then over the years I bought additional dumbbells as I progressed in my training. I now have 5-50 and 65, 75, 85, 90 and 100 in my set. I use these dumbbells daily and literally beat the crap out of them. They are budget worthy and built well.

Overall this is a very nice machine. It is a critical part of my leg training. It would be nice if the range of motion / depth on the extensions was deeper. After 4 years, the bushings started to break off and the unit was loose feeling. I reached out to the Manufacture, without issue they sent me replacement bushings at no cost to me. The footprint is relatively small so it fits in with my gym setup nicely.

This is a well built, commercial grade piece of equipment. It is a big machine that potentially takes up a lot of gym floor space. So I mounted heavy duty locking wheels to it to make it more home gym worthy. Now I wheel it in front of my cable machines, up to the dumbbell rack or to a central open space to do curlbar work. I should have put it on wheels years ago. I use this beast several times a week. It is an integral part of my training routine.

This is a beast of a machine. Super sturdy. This is the 1st large piece of equipment I purchased. I wish the weight stacks were bigger or able to upgrade. Also, it would be nice to have standard 5,10,15,20 weight increments instead of the 23.5, 29, 34.5.... Having said that. I beat the crap out of this machine and it never fails. Day after day, year after year. LOVE IT!

Only been using for a month... So far, so good. Positives; Solid machine, looks great, great price. Smooth pulleys and trolleys. Footprint is perfect for small home gyms. Safety spotter arms store away nicely. Spotter arms and J cups seem to handle heavy weight without issue. Couple negatives; I had to add my own liner to all the attachments to keep from damaging my uprights during use, The upper most position of the trolley is a little low when doing Lat Pulldowns, can't get full length position (I'm 5'-11"). I replaced the stock stickers on the stack to show the actual weight. At 2:1, the factory stickers float your ego, but are not correct. Even though I ordered the additional weight stack (total 230), still have to have weight stack extender pins to get sufficient weight for Lat Pulldowns. Overall, this is a beautiful piece of equipment. I am able to purchase 3x3 attachments from other manufactures without issue.

In my gym, space is as important as the equipment. I bought the Westside Reverse Hyper as a way to help rehab my back. It worked great and now is an integral part of my training. The ability fold it and put a way is critical to my day to day gym operations. It does exactly what I need it to do, and when I’m done, it folds up and stores neatly next to my functional trainer instead of permanently occupying gym space. I am a 250+ pound man, and this thing is solid and sturdy.
