Not much to say here. Just an all around solid leg extension. Range of motion is okay—definitely better than most modern commercial pieces. The stack is 250lbs and surprisingly heavy. It appears to have an ascending resistance profile which I prefer for leg extensions. It also has a very nice seat angle that allows you to lean fairly far back. If you add a HUSLA pad to this it’s easily a 5/5. It’s old school paramount so the build quality is very stout. If you’ve used a Cybex VR1/2 it feels very similar. If you’re in need of a leg extension and you come across one for cheap, it’s a solid buy.

It’s literally a more compact version of the Paramount Total Leg. Absolute humbler of a machine. 2-3 plates on the rear pegs will be more than enough for 99.9% of people. It’s sturdy and made with 11 gauge steel. Nearly 0 adjustability which I prefer for a machine like this because I could see myself getting neurotic about foot platform angle and position. I’d rather just be able to jump in and start squatting. It has been a staple in my training for many years.

Yes, it’s matrix. But fortunately it’s pretty hard to mess up a lat pulldown. It’s shorter than most commercial units which is perfect for my garage and it has a small footprint in general. It’s also surprisingly hardcore because it’s belt driven and has a 300 pound stack. That alone puts it above most. It’s a great value if you find it for cheap on the resale market. Would never buy it new.

5/5 back piece. People don’t put enough respect on the Pro1 Era of Lifefitness equipment because of how terrible they are nowadays. Anything of theirs from this era is quality. This row has multiple grip options, a moderately heavy stack (easy to gym pin), extremely sturdy build quality, and tons of adjustability. It also has a very balanced resistance profile and drops off just enough to get a full contraction as opposed to most seated rows. This is one piece that I never plan on getting rid of.

Picked this up on FBMP for cheap. Quickly realized Promaxima is a very underrated manufacturer that makes some incredibly stout equipment. The thing weighs a ton, has a heavy stack, and a descending resistance profile with a foot assist to top it all off. The handles are situated in a very ergonomic way and the back pad is narrower at the shoulders to allow for more scapular retraction. My only complaint is it does not converge.

It’s a budget piece first and foremost, but man does this thing glide in the silkiest way. It has an incredibly large weight capacity (450lbs) and tons of adjustability. For just over 600 bucks this thing performs incredibly well. It definitely doesn’t feel budget. It has completely transformed my workouts and was probably the most useful addition to my gym. Use both arms for a 1:1 weight ratio or 1 arm for 2:1 .
