It’s awesome. I love rowing and the C2 is great but this is better. It looks awesome, costs less, folds up, and is built like a tank. If you’re looking for a rower, this is the best one in my opinion.

I love this thing! Its range of motion is great and the strength curve on it is consistent. Play in the back pad is there but doesn’t bother me too much but overall it’s solid. I painted mine white because Big Basement Brandon is my hero… not that he would ever own this piece lol. Be patient on price as they run sales and it is available on multiple sites so shop around first.

This thing is absolutely massive! I got this in my basement and kind of panicked when I realized how much it took over the space. I found a great home for it and have plenty of room but just be prepared. That said, I love it. There were some small annoyances but REP customer service was very responsive and fixed the issue quickly (one of the shrouds had bubbling paint and one of the stacks top plates was slightly misaligned). It’s listed for $2700 and I think that’s good for essentially a near commercial quality machine but you can buy a Dane 2.0 or and Anubis 2.0 for that and get even more value. Personally, I have the room, I prefer standalone machines to keep my rack clean, I got it for cheap (local pickup at their PA warehouse/showroom and a holiday sale), and it comes in white or black. I love this thing personally but it’s definitely not for everyone.

These have all the best aspects of a high-quality bumper plate with none of the downsides. They are thin as hell, obviously, so you can load up the bar without running out of room. They don’t smell like rubber because they’re made to be essentially indestructible and urethane-coated. You can drop them with very little bounce. They are quiet, with great tolerances. The branding is cool as hell and they look cool as hell. They have a small lip, so they’re fairly easy to move around. They are a little slick like anything urethane-coated, but I’ve never dropped them. The lettering is countersunk now as opposed to raised lettering. That’s worth stating because the V1 lettering would fall off or catch. Did I mention they are thin and quiet? I used to have problems loading up on my leg press, but not anymore. Same with my hip thrust machine. I can select shorter-collared cambered bars to reduce weight without worrying about filling up the sleeve. I preordered these and could not be happier with them. I sold my Rogue urethane color training plates and could not be happier with the transition. The cost wasn’t bad in my opinion, and I literally made up for it by selling the plates I already had. I bought five sets of 45s, one set of 25s, and a set of 10s. I signed up for their email list to save a little extra and used NoFate24/7’s affiliate link since he had a great review of the V1s and Big Kurt didn’t have an affiliate link at the time. All that without even mentioning how awesome Brian is. If you meet him, you know what I mean. Amazing product.
