Pretty damned bad all the way around. There’s no knurling, looks and feels cheap, squeaks, and just sucks.

The build quality on this is exceptional and it is a great finisher for forearms and wrists. I don’t use it nearly as much as I should but I’m grateful to own it and glad Watson made this thing. The handle feels great in your hand. It’s just a pleasure to use.

They’re not cheap. And I think they’re too long. And I actually believe them to be too sharply knurled for tricep work. They’re a little too much. Love the collab between Steve Kleva and the Rep boys.

I’ve got loads of these things. They’re like bamboo sprouts in my garage. I’ve got 15 total uprights, although 3 of them are the 60” storage uprights, and 4 of them are 80”. The rest are 93”. I’m really happy with the powder coat and the sexy red color. I also like the idea that all four sides of the upright have 2” spacing. I don’t think the other brands have a 5/8” rack like that. Bummer Rep is dumping this size rack.

These don’t work in all orientation on the four sides of the PR-4000 rack. I don’t use them at this point. Kind of a waste of my money with my current set up. They just sit in my garage closet…

Nope. You don’t need all these angles. And the angles fight with each other so it’s always uncomfortable. And if you have a 24” rack like I did when i owned this, your biggest problem is that you can only use the outside angles because there’s no room inside the rack or you hit your body into the back uprights. Don’t do it. It’s costly and ineffective. And I could never get my rack plumb because one side wasn’t quite 90°.

So this is too short. And it’s a pain in the ass to put together. And it looks super cheap. The complaints are now out of the way. I appreciate the smoothness of the movement and the fact that I have an actual true to goodness smith machine on my power rack that cost less than $700. That’s bonkers. No one can tell you with a straight face that you need to spend twice as much for this product because this doesn’t look like much. It gets the job done exceptionally well.

I enjoy using this although I’m not sure I buy into the oscillating mumbo jumbo. Even so, it gives me something fun to play with and a change to feel I’m pushing myself without needing to jankify my shoulders every time I lay down on the bench. I tried to do this with squats once and I ended up looking like Gumby and it was probably funny but scary as all hell. Won’t tempt fate again with that, so strictly OHP and bench.
