The Honda Civic of Axle Bars. Is 2 inches thick, 7 feet long and you can put plates on it. That’s is, no frills, nothing special. The cheapest axle you can get to get the job done without going DIY.
Got this on super sale when Rep was clearing out the old bars for their new line. $160 for a needle bearing bar is a no brainer. Great rotation, gets the job done. As someone who merely dabbles in Olympic lifting, checks all the boxes for me. Biggest down fall is the knurling is more of a decoration than anything.
Got these During Covid because I literally drive past York Barbell everyday on the way to work. They’re fine. Gets the job done. A little on the thicker side, and I have the previous Gen ones that were all black. Had to paint the letters myself. Looks like the new ones are a bit thinner and have white writing.
