Bottom-line up front: Bench weighs >130 LBs and is about 60" long, just because it can be. Zero Gap is a novelty which your spouse might not think is worth the extra 30 pounds or ~$150. The good: 17" bench height. Vinyl is nice and grippy. Stores upright to reduce the behemoth footprint. Stability in all positions and look 'ma, no gap. Knurled handle makes the free single-armed deadlifts you get with every relocation of the bench a joy! Win win. The bad: It's huge and heavy. Zero Gap is clunky to use because sloppy tolerances require knob tightening, an unfortunate compromise at Rep's "premium" price point. The ugly: Rep is now producing a lighter-duty bench which makes more sense in almost every application in the Nighthawk.

Bottom-line up front: Solid power bar with stout components and a medium-aggressive "Goldilocks" knurling without bar coating. Easy assembly for maintenance. The good: Rogue quality fit and finish, even on Boneyard bars. Speaking of Boneyard, the bar at that price is an excellent value. The bad: Rogue pricing. There is plenty of competition from both domestic and imported bar manufacturers, enough to knock a star off for the MSRP. The ugly: N/A.

Bottom-line up front: This is the cheapest serviceable, no frills general purpose bar anyone sane is likely to recommend; Handles heavy rack pulls well and you won't be sad when you bend it. The good: Price point can't much get lower without calling safety into question. It holds weight on both sides and probably won't kill you. The bad: The knurling is passive and straight-up sucks. The ugly: The bar is ugly, but in a heraldic, almost endearing way.

Bottom-line up front: These handles are built in America to spec to replicate the feel of a barbell in your hands. They do exactly that, from the bar diameter to the assembly and maintainability, they really are like 'mini barbells'. Their MSRP is commensurate. The good: Handle weight is to spec (mine each weigh 12.00lbs on the nose according to my super (not)precise luggage scale). Knurling is consistent and covers enough handle to accomodate all hand sizes. Loads the same weight plates you presumably already own. Plenty of loading space on sleeves to get these truly heavy with 25#s; reasonably heavy with many 10#s. The bad: They're loadable dumbbells built for a specific purpose; that purpose inherently lacks versatility. Weight changes will not be fast. The ugly: Getting these heavy is either going to require loading 25#'s, which may or may not vibe with your build/anthropometry and the movements you plan to do, or stocking up on lots of 10# plates.

Bottom-line up front: The device is very solid but usage is dependent on the associated app's functionality or lack there-of. Two stars off for the app needing work. The good: The device is a joy to use by itself and is cleary well-built. USB-C charging and bluetooth for pairing for app use. Easy to set up in-rack or on platform. No issues with bluetooth between sessions, no fuss with the phyiscal device. The device's app is provided free-of-charge; there is no up-front or recurring subscription fee at the time of writing. You can export your velocity data to Excel (only format at time of writing). The bad: The app is not perfect (surprise!). Using the app can be a chore; app bugs when multitasking and using bluetooth audio have been noted. I've had an app crash or two on my iphone which are frustrating with any app. I find little to no issue if the app is on a device doing nothing else but running the app. While the app can export your velocity data this is presented as an account-level function so you can't really specify a time frame or exercise or any other critera for the export. Exporting and filtering all data every time you want to update your training log is a little tedious. The ugly: N/A
