A really nice build, but not having a step through safety/spotter stand is a killer for this piece. Rogue did same thing in their V1 example. I think people either love this bench style or hate it. I love lifting from one as they make AR so nice, but this version isn’t the optimal choice of the offerings

A fantastic piece that was my top choice until we got a Rogue Donkey in the garage sale at Rogue. The goal was a custom piece and I was a fan of the footprint, but the garage sale pricing gave me a 50% discount and I just couldn’t turn that down. This piece is absolutely rock solid and is great as either a hyper or GHD. I still stare with envy…

I’ve seen these live in Y’s and high schools forever. My own personal use was extremely limited, I’ll admit. Just seemed like a gimmick piece that only made in a couple movements. However, on a disability waiver I’ve seen a lifter utilize so he can squat safely (for himself and spotters) with 1 arm using this piece. If it opens lifting and the sport of powerlifting for more people, it’s a good piece. And I’d rather see these get use than the pad anyway!

I could pick up my review of Rogue calibrated plates and just mirror it here. Great because they are calibrated and give you a comp feel. But if you want your plates to look great for a lifetime, you either need to keep looking or handle with kid gloves. These would come out of the box beat up, and a few uses and your wear would look like 5 years of steady use.

Great feel, great sound, super nice plates. May be my favorite example of 6-shooter plates and I love getting to use them. Waiting on a gym I know that has to decide they want to upgrade so I can have a logical reason to grab some sets

Legitimately the single hardest piece of cardio equipment I’ve ever seen or experienced. I’ve seen people in phenomenal shape stop in less than 10 minutes and I’d be pouring sweat just staring at it. It also adjusts speeds as you climb so any idea of working harder to get ahead just works you harder. Rarely come available but if you see at a decent price on secondary market and you want a killer piece, it does it. If you’re building a new large or commercial gym, it’s worth the add

It’s a nice big heavy piece that is well built. But it’s also a high price point in a crowded space that has 100 other options, many of which they chose not to learn from, and many of which that are available used (or new) at pennys on the dollar in comparison.

Better than leaving it on the floor, more expensive than a couple long screws. It does complete a look and allow easy and secure storage.
