I purchased this used from a short man in New Jersey. He had a lot of trouble using it. The ergonomics aren’t great. There is a perfect person out there for this machine and unfortunately I’m not it (I’m 5’11” if you are curious). Does it work? Yes. Does it work well? Not really. Certain parts keep falling off and I think the bars under the padded area are bending. It also takes up a shocking amount of space. It does a job and that’s about it. I really only use it for leg extensions. It just doesn’t work well at all for hamstring curls. If you find it used like I did for a good price, go for it. If not, move on.

I was really hesitant when I purchased these at York Barbell in ye ole York, Pa. It isn’t your grandpa’s York Barbell. Most everything is made in China including these plates. However, I’ve been thrashing around these plates for 4 years now and there is little to no wear on them. I docked them a star simply because they aren’t the best fitting on a barbell but who doesn’t love a little jingle jangle am I right fellas. They are great value when purchased at the outlet in York especially when you get them on sale. Anyway… they look great, they perform great, and they hold up. I definitely recommend them.
