Chunky, well built seat. It's annoying to move so I put it on a lone upright (with my BoS shoulder boulder) and leave it there. Gets a lot of use for rear delt flyes, and seal rows. If I didn't have the space to leave this permanently installed, it would probably never get any use at all because it is unwieldy, but since I don't have to move it, it's great. I saw in another review that somebody mentioned flipping the pad so the rounded piece is up where your shoulders are when doing seal rows. Interesting idea that I'm going to try. I'm not super small (5' 9"), but I definitely feel my shoulders on the edge of the pad when I'm doing seal rows.

I used to have a plyo box, but at even its smallest side, 18", I would just hit my head on the ceiling when I stood on it. That was a buying mistake. Now I have this step, it works fine for my needs. It adjusts low, and my knees are dust so I'm never doing heavy plyometrics. They say not to put more than three risers per side under the box. I use 4 per side regularly and it feels stable enough (and is probably 16"), but I probably just voided a warranty or something by admitting that. Bear in mind that this is always going to be a lot shorter than a plyo box, especially if you follow safety instructions. I use them for a handful of things: Elevated pushups, step up and down, primarily. They get the job done. Also my three year old does "leg day" with me, which entails jumping off this step over and over again. Would i step on them carrying something really heavy, or go slamming onto them with my full weight? Absolutely not, but I still get some use from them.

Is there any real way I can justify having a row of expensive, rusted, dumbbell parts in my gym? Absolutely not. I could achieve something similar with an eye hook, a chunk of 2x4 and a loadable weight pin (which I also have). Do I love these dearly and use them to motivate getting my grip strength stronger? Yes I do. 10/10 item. Very cool.

I have the MXSelect adjustable dumbbells (which go up in increments of 10 lbs) with their 5 lbs fractional plates. Added these to the mix to allow me to do 2.5 lbs increments. Work great. It gets a bit tight when I need to use both sets of fractional weights (the MXSelect 2.5s alongside these to get to a weight like 17.5), but definitely not uncomfortable.

I just *enjoy* these plates. Look at the text on them, the THOR fades down to the right, like the typesetter just got sloppy (apparently the whole set is similarly sloppy). There is a whole story with these plates being an unapproved re-cast of the standard York milled plates by York CA, and that they got shut down when York USA noticed. They're 45s. Mine have some casting faults but are close enough to 45 that I don't care. I like them mainly because they're weird, and the THOR looks cool.

These are really high quality kettlebells. That said, I had a pair and got rid of them for three reasons: 1. Takes time to change, Allen key and a big nut to take off. Probably 60-90 seconds, which may not feel like a big deal but I find it quite annoying in the middle of a workout. 2. There is no visual indicator on the outside what weight is in there. I don't do too much kettlebell work, so generally forgot what was in there and had to open them up and check (see point 1) 3. In kg, unlike every other weight in my gym, and unlike my training programs. These didn't work for me, but they're really high quality items, and somebody who interacts with their kettlebells differently (or has a better short term memory than me) would probably love them.

These weights are not the most accurate in the world (I have a 43 and 46lbs set), actually not complaining about that since I wanted them for hub lifting, and now I have a baby 45 to work up to the full one. I think the whiskers look cool and three plates are one of the best looking in my small vintage weight collection.

Bought these after reading the gray matter "Best carabiners" article. Love 'em. Relative to getting normal carabiners on and off equipment, these are just a breeze, and I tend to do most things one handed now. Ended up buying these in bulk and clipping them basically everywhere. Note, not for climbing, there is no locking mechanism. For the gym they're perfect though. Also they claim to hold 3372 lbs, which I have not verified. Will update this review when I deadlift that much.
