Fantastic bench given its entry level pricing. Proper stable, good enough grip and light enough to move around. Would have no problems recommending this.

I'm very disappointed in this piece of equipment. I'll break this review down into flat bench, incline, leg extension, leg curl and preacher curl. As a flat bench, this is very good, very solid. It's got good padding, feels solid and stable and is about a medium on the grip side. As an incline bench it's excellent. The angles you can get are great, the gap isn't too big between the seat and main bench and it's very solid. The main bench is a little bit longer, so if you want to do seated overhead triceps extensions with a dumbbell for example, that's not really possible. The other areas are where it falls apart however. Leg extension is ok. Just ok. I'm 6' so not the tallest lad going, but I manage to get a good contraction at the top of the lift. To get a deep stretch at the bottom, I'd have to put a small pad or block under my legs. I've no problem doing this to make use of this function. Leg curl is terrible, can barely get a contraction and feels like there's no weight at the top of the lift. The rollers go all over the place and remove all your concentration on the muscle. Don't bother if you want a leg curl accessory on your bench, go elsewhere. Preacher curl is equally as bad in the grand scheme of things. It feels like they just tacked on the bits for these exercises without actually thinking if they'd be any good. The bottom position isn't a full stretch, and the top position doesn't have any weight again. I suppose it might be fixed with bands? The leg accessory also gets in the way of preacher curls, and it's not easy to remove the leg bits as they're fully screwed in rather than a pop pin. It would be good for preacher curls without the leg attachment on there, but then you're removing most of the point of having a functional bench like this.

The best word I can use to describe these is clunky. I've had them 5 years now and they do a job that I'm happy with. They were the cheapest option at the time, and I feel like the tech for adjustables has come a long way since then so if I was going out to market for another pair I'd likely look elsewhere. It would've been nice to try them before buying them. Others on the market look much sleeker and more comfortable. For example, when doing incline press, the edge of the dumbbell touches my shoulder but in a way where I'm hyper-aware of it and feel like I need to adjust where I'd naturally lift them. I've shown that in the review picture. The handle shape is not straight but a bit convex and the knurling is a bit awkward. Since the handle is on the thicker side, the micro plates are a pain to get on (note I have no comparison because I have only ever used them with this dumbbell). When changing the weight there is a noticable click which is nice, however sometimes it clicks but isn't actually set so you end up pulling the whole thing out badly. My biggest critique is that these are 10-90lbs, but are labelled in kg. So we go from 4-7-9-11 etc. up to 41kg. I get we don't use freedom units here in the UK but I'd rather they manufacture in kg and label correctly or stick to the lbs labelling.
