It physically does hold a bar, but scratches the sleeve up pretty bad and your bar just sits on the ground. For some bars, you might have to adjust the mounting height so it doesn’t just sit on the inner collar. My used rack came with 2 of these, and I plan to replace them so my bars stop getting chewed up.

Good bar overall. I got it on a deal when kabuki was closing shop, and I’m really happy with it for what I paid. The knurl on mine is a little inconsistent, and it’s starting to get a bit of rust, but I have been using it heavily. I’d recommend if you can get it cheap, otherwise I’d wait for a boneyard squat bar from rogue or just get a Texas.

Can sometimes be a bit tricky to install just right, but they massively improve the user experience with power blocks. Mine are honestly a bit too aggro, but you can order wherever on the spectrum you’d like. 10/10 recommend.

These are perfect for their intended use! Especially if you are training for Dinnie stones or something and need to load 2 x 100lb plates vertically. Would recommend!

This thing still holds up! Sure they’ve updated their lineup and improved them, but if you’re reading this staring at a good deal on FBMP, send it! I’ve had this bench for 3 years now and it’s still great.

Look, it’s a cheap axle bar. I bought it to do Zerchers off of safeties and drop it, throw it in the landmine, and generally beat up. It’s cheap and does these things well. If you want a “good” axle, you probably need to look elsewhere.

I really like the aggro 2x. Got mine in a grab bag and it has no noticeable issues. The deep volcano knurl on the 2x is a top contender for my favorite, and my bar has rogue’s upgraded tolerances/features which I really like!
