I don’t have much to say about these that others haven’t already said. The build quality is great, and they perform exactly as advertised. My one complaint is that the nuts and bolts don’t work with the standard 36mm sockets that work with M24 nuts and bolts. The included bolt was even too big for my crescent wrench. I wound up using some spare REP bolts I had on hand.

For performance, I think the answer is, it depends. I have a REP Apollo half rack and the issue with this pull-up bar is that it basically consumes the entire top of the rack, leaving no space for on-rack bar storage. I wound up replacing it with a simple 1.25" pull-up bar and really appreciated getting the space back. Neutral grip aside, this bar is also a few inches higher off the ground than the standard bar. What I found after taking it off is that this bar blocks out a substantial amount of light as well, the visibility is better with the less obtrusive bar. Unless you need something really specific about it, I'd just go with the 1.25" bar, it gets the job done. I gave it good marks for value and build quality, it's not much more expensive than the simplest bar and I can only assume it will survive forever. It's sturdy.

I already had a set of bumper plates when I bought a set of these. They're great. The key feature is the holes that make them easy to handle. Overall they have all the advantages of iron plates over bumpers, with the bonus that the urethane deadens the sound a bit and keeps them from being unpleasant to handle in the winter. I expect that they'll do better over time in my gym, which has no climate control. If I were going to invest in more plates, I'd just keep buying more of these.

In my gym I have both pound and KG plates, and I needed a set of KG change plates. I got a good deal on these in a Black Friday sale and I feel like they were a great value. They look good and the coating is nice. I also have a set of REP change plates (in pounds) and it's very helpful that they look completely different so that it's easy to avoid mixing them up.

These serve the purpose for which they were designed incredibly well. If you lack the mobility to front squat with a barbell in a strong position, these straps solve the problem. In a world of complicated squat setups, these stand out as being a cheap and easy way to focus on building strength rather than struggling with mobility issues.
