These work great for smoothing out the 5lb jumps on my PowerBlock dumbbells. Expensive for the job they do, but the magnets are super strong and I've never had one fall off.

Great inexpensive way to add weight to dumbells so you don’t have to buy every weight increment in the set

I bought these for a set of adjustable dumbbells (Bowflex at the time), they didn't work on those because of the plastic shell. I upgraded to MX Select dumbbells, they work on them just fine, although I have found that I prefer to use the micro gainz fractional weights, so don't tend to use them.
These now sit on my rack, if I ever need to increase a big lift by 2.5 lbs, I'm happy to have that option, although I haven't needed them yet.
The one thing I would say in this review is that if you're going to use these on dumbbells, think very carefully about where they'll stick, you need a big flat metal face, and if you don't have that, these will be ineffective.

No complaints they do exactly what they said they would with no issues

If you have the right size dumbbells they mostly stay on. I've had several times doing arm raises with 15 pound dumbbells and they've either moved or flown off.

Perfect solution to add to Nuobell Dumbbells to get 2.5lb increments rather than 5lb jumps. I also have the 2.5lb versions to add to the total 80lb on the Nuobells to get me to 85lbs. These don’t scratch what they attach to and have a strong attachment force so I’m not worried at all that they will fall off during a set.

Phenomenal (strongly) magnetic fractional plates that work on almost anything. They are very well coated and easy to grab due to the stepped edge.

I have similar comments on these as I had on the 2.5 lb pair. I will post those comments here as well. My one note to make on these specifically, is that the donut is thinner than the hex head version of this. I prefer them to be thinner as I think they are effected by any shakes or drops less and are less likely to pop off. No evidence to support this, just a thought. I love these. Magnet is very strong. I have never had them fall off unless I dropped the dumbbells, and even then I had to drop with some force and reckless abandon for these to pop off. The wide and flat design make them perfect for setting up on your legs to kick up into your press position. I will sometimes use them on grip implements like by blobs to add some weight and they also work great for that. Perfect price point for a home gym gift. As advertised, they really only work on metal dumbbells so don’t think you can make them work for a dumbbell with any kind of covering on them.
