Abram GHD 2.0

Abram GHD 2.0

The Rogue Abram GHD 2.0 combines consistent performance and stability with smooth, precision adjustments and unique portability. This compact machine is a comprehensive tool for midline stabilization and the strengthening of hamstrings and glutes—all in a way that's functionally transferable to an athlete’s sport. Version 2.0 keeps the core elements of the original Abram GHD and adds design innovations from Rogue’s own heavy-duty Monster Swing-Arm GHD, including an advanced 10-slot roller assembly. The unit is manufactured in the USA from 2x3” 11-gauge steel, with a bolt-together, triangular-base design and rubber feet for maximum sturdiness through peak power output.

Heavy duty, well built. More convenient than the 1.0 when adjusting , got for a great price on FBM so can't complain on price and shipping so 5 stars all around. I cut the band holes off to have a smaller footprint, still stable and less of a tripping hazard.

This is the best GHD for overall use (yes, you can do more than abs and hamstrings on this). Cost is great, adjusts well, and the pads have a good slope. The cons to me are the construction of the wood piece under the pads and the pad being a little too soft. For hamstring purposes the Elitefts is better but hard to adjust and not as great for abs and rotational work. Can't go wrong with this and its common to find used in good shape for 50-70% of retail, sometimes less.

Can they make this GHD any more overbuilt? The Abram GHD 2.0 might be one of the heaviest-built pieces of equipment I own. Everything on it feels top-notch — solid construction, quality materials, and it simply does exactly what a GHD is supposed to do. My only real complaint is the adjustability. Because of how heavy the unit is and where the knobs are placed, making adjustments isn’t the easiest. I watched a review of the ATX GHD and it looked noticeably smoother and simpler to adjust. I did add a 3x3 rail on the front legs to give it a bit more functionality, which has worked out well for extra exercises. Overall, if you want a bombproof, no-frills GHD that’s built like a tank, this is a great choice. It’s not the most adjustable, but the rock-solid build more than makes up for it in my book.

Is it a Glute Ham Developer (GHD) or a Glute Ham Raise (GHR)? Regardless, this is a terrific machine well worth its asking price. Made with a heavy duty steel frame the build quality is excellent and is easily adjustable for nearly any body type. It does have a larger footprint but if you have the space I would recommend the Rogue Abram GHD 2.0 to anyone wanting to strengthen there lower posterior chain. Moreover, if you experience any lower back pain or discomfort this machine can be a great accessory exercise for any training program.

Went back on forth on buying this after trying out. The biggest issue for me was the footprint and then the price. No matter how much reconfiguring, I could not make it work. Once I started looking at alternative, I settled for REP's version. The saving was nearly $400 once shipping for Rogue is added. That is a huge difference for the competing price points even when considering U.S. made versus overseas. I love Rogue products, but sometimes the numbers just do not make sense.

Build like it's namesake, this thing will go nowhere. Great for doing GHR and never had an issue with its intended functionality. Also good for doing crunches. If you are a tall person with long arms it's less good for back extensions with weights (at least for me). My other most favorite usage is using it as a ezbar rack and preacher pad. Adding some unused fat grips to the arms (added bonus of being more comfortable when bracing on it between GHR sets)it won't scuff up at all. After roughly 5 years we needed to replace the pads since they got too crumbly.

Great quality as with most things Rogue. The only complaint is lack of a place to step up, but that's probably because a Rep GHD is beside it. The adjustment system for the footplate is a much better design than Rep's for our application.

Whats another word to describe a tank? Pretty sure these rogue ghd's would survive a nuclear blast. Very adjustable. Pads are thick and supportive. Highly recommend

Incredibly well built as the updated adjustment system on it is super smooth. My only complaint is it takes up a ton of floor space
