Not as beefy as the rogue echo or as buttery smooth but still a very solid fan bike with lots of adjustment points.

Overall good piece of cardio, you know how brutal it is if you’ve ever used one. Looser tolerances and overall louder and clunkier feeling than an echo bike. That said I own this one and have only used the echo bike at gyms

Obviously newer players have come into the game with better build quality BUT this tried and true bike remains what we all know it is. It’s a one way self hatred machine you use to beat yourself up for some reason. It works great, I use it for sprints such as tabatas post workout and it has never failed to make me wish I never used it. 10/10 would recommend.
I don’t need to submit a photo we all know what this pics of hell machine is

Really not a fan of these chain driven assault bikes, have to do way more maintenance and adjust the chain as it stretches, not to mention it's so much louder and more clunky

This was once the gold standard in assault bikes but now the rest of the competition has caught up and surpassed it.

The AssaultBike is one of those machines that sounds innocent until you actually start pedaling. Then it turns into a full body reality check. It is a great cardio piece and it absolutely tests you. The harder you go, the harder it pushes back. There is no hiding on this thing.
This was one of my first major equipment purchases during the COVID garage gym era, and it felt like a big upgrade at the time. The monitor is solid and easy to use, especially for intervals and tracking output. I mainly use it as a warm up before my main lifts just to get the engine going. On conditioning days though, I will open it up and go all out, and it never disappoints in making me question my life choices halfway through.
That said, the landscape has shifted. The Rogue Echo Bike has kind of taken over as the conditioning bike people chase now. It is heavier, a bit more refined, and has become the new standard in a lot of gyms. But the AssaultBike is still a legit machine. It may not be the current hype pick, but it will absolutely get the job done if you are serious about conditioning.

Owned this for a while but traded it out for a treadmill which to me was more useful. I do feel the quality was decent and the workout was great, but it gets a bit boring after a while and if you don’t have space for multiple cardio pieces it just wasn’t the piece I wanted to keep around.

The AssaultBike had an edge on Rogue in timing, but it seems like they failed to capture the market. It's fine, and it's hard to find fault with it until you try the Echo bike. The AssaultBike is just a bit looser everywhere and the quality is just a bit worse than Rogue's pretty much everywhere, which is not surprising given the price difference. If you're already spending $800 on an air bike, spend the extra $150 to get the Rogue Echo Bike. However, if you manage to spot one of these used for a good price, then you won't be disappointed (and you're much more likely to get a good deal on this than a used Echo Bike).

Do you like doing cardio that makes you question your life choices? That's what the assault bike feels like in the moment. HIIT on it is brutal but does s great job of getting the work done.

It’s loud and it hurts your butt to sit on it. But at the time there was no other options around when I purchased. It has definitely changed my conditioning.
