This a great way to make the Spud Inc Belt Squat Belt a bit more tolerable during belt squatting or marching. I don't think it is a necessity but it is a comfort and convenience to addition. I'd purchase it again. Abmat makes quality products for fair prices!

This actually delivers on its promise. Paired with the Rogue belt, it dramatically improves comfort and usability — a small investment that makes a meaningful difference in the overall experience. Highly recommended for anyone running the Rogue belt squat setup.

Before using this, I was using the belt that came with my Rogue Rhino, and it would dig into the inside of my thighs, causing a lot of discomfort during workouts. When I came across this piece, I figured almost anything would be an improvement. Thankfully, the AbMat Belt Squat Cover completely solved the issue. It’s much more comfortable and eliminated the pain and pressure I was feeling.

This is really good. I have a non adjustable belt squat belt from spud inc that I use on the rhino. I am not a huge fan of the rogue belt, probably just because I was used to the spud. The belt squat cover is a great addition. Really makes it feel nice. Highly recommend, seems like it’s gonna last a long time also.

I have the Pillow Belt from Spud Inc which I find to be comfortable. But my wife always complained about how it dug into her hips on heavier sets and she would always have to wrap a towel around it and it was her workaround to that issue. So I found this and purchased it for her but ended up really taking a liking to it as well. For me, hip thrusts were fine but on belt squats these are a Godsend. Like that I can just zip it off and switch from machines but it mainly stays on my hip thrust machine. Highly recommend this if you already have a belt on hand and just need extra cushioning.

AbMat Belt Squat Cover is a great addition to the free belt I got with the Fringe belt squat Mammoth.

Love this. Made my 'free' fringe belt so comfy. Really helps you feel locked in and cozy while belt squatting.

My son had a labrum tear and needed to belt squat to stay in the gym. He is a skinny 13 year old, and a lot of belt squat belts were causing him pain. This pad was a game changer, allowing him to squat, march and do other movements with no discomfort.

I believe spud has a belt squat with comfort in mind, but I find this to be even softer on your hip bones. As a thinner and smaller torso lifter, the space from where I put my belt to my ribs and hip bones is small. Having some more comfort makes a big difference for higher rep sets with more focus on the grind. I do think everyone would like this extra layer of comfort, but if you notice any pain when using a belt squat, then adding this will take away the pain of it digging into you and allow you to focus on the pain of blasting the legs. Ab mat materials are always top quality and this is the same. The zipper makes adding this onto your bels super easy and quick.
