Bench Blokz (Small or Large)

Bench Blokz (Small or Large)

BenchBlokz move beyond traditional board presses by replacing the “boards” themselves with a simple, portable, all-in-one unit—compatible with most standard barbells. So, rather than dragging 2x4’s to the gym and seeking out a volunteer board holder, lifters can now use BenchBlokz on their own to set a customized, stable “sticking point” for the barbell above their chest; from as little as 0.75” to as high as 7.5”.

I utilized Rogue's boards 1 through 5 for several years. Lifting by yourself you have to be creative on how to set them up to effectively use them. Once I purchased and starting using the blokz, setup was no longer a concern. My main issue with my bench is at lockout, and utilizing a 3 or 4 board has helped me become better at it.

I've been dealing with a nagging pinch in my right shoulder while benching for nearly 8 months. I picked up a Kadillac bar to try switching my grip but it's still the depth that causes my pain. This perfect piece of gym kit has allowed me to bench again with nearly no pain since my pain came around only in full depth bench.

I bought this to help rehab a shoulder injury from bench pressing. I love it. It's an inexpensive and versatile piece. I always buy USA when I can, so it was worth the few extra dollars for me over the knockoff.

Great tool to add to your arsenal. Small footprint and does exactly what it advertises. Way easier than boards to set up to the bench. The holes could be a little better finished (got a couple of stray plastic strings on mine) but seems like it will hold up well. Small footprint too which is nice for us home gym folks.

I bought this at HomeGymCon. Felt good to support a family-owned business. Good quality, great people. Don't regret buying it for a minute.

These are exactly as advertised. They give the solo loft the opportunity to do board presses. They do this in a small compact package.

It works as advertised and I think it's worth the money. Replaces multiple boards for pressing, removes the need for someone to hold the boards, and is pretty easy to toss in a gym bag for anyone that lifts at a commercial gym. If you're lifting in an uninsulated gym in the winter, you might want to store them somewhere warm because they're prone to shrinking when they cool down and make it almost impossible to use.

The problem it solves is having to build and store multiple boards for pressing. It also helps you if you short on another amenity required to board press, friends. The foam is dense but does feel like it has a semi-limited shelf life. To compare it to a similar product, the Elite FTS shoulder saver only comes in 2 sizes. Each of these blocks allows for 3-4 pressing levels. I have heard the shoulder saver is better at doing the job. So the question is, do you want something that does one thing better or one thing that does more, but not as well.

Pretty cool but of gear. Only complaints would be that the block can sometimes get rotated a bit when unracking (making it contact the chest strangely) and some of the foam can come off in the centre knurling when removing.
