Cambered Swiss Bar

Cambered Swiss Bar

The REP Cambered Swiss Bar is the perfect addition to any gym. This multi-grip barbell is an incredibly versatile tool for strength training. The cambered design provides a greater range of motion, and the different grips target specific muscle groups. All handles on the bar take advantage of the camber, which means the weight is offset from your grip. This creates a pendulum effect, so you have to engage more muscles to stabilize the bar, creating a different stimulus than a traditional barbell. The outermost handle is also set at a deficit so you can pull the bar into a deeper range of motion. Moderately knurled handles help with grip, especially on pull exercises. We took the classic, cambered design and made it even better. Our round tubing prevents any discomfort when the bar is loaded on your body. The removable eyebolt adds a level of versatility to your training and can be used as a cable attachment. Not to mention, our barbell fits standard clips, so you don't need to buy new ones. This is easily one of the best multi-grip barbells on the market.

I own about 5 different swiss bars and I would say that the rep one is the best all around. Start weight, knurling, bumpers fit nice, grips are common. The handle length can make it harder to balance but elitefts has a bar for that. Again, best overall swiss bar and most used in my gym

I like it but really wish I liked it more. Only outer handles add ROM. I wish the handles that were one spot over were moved outward and gave extra ROM instead

Not sure why they made the camber so far out. If you're benching or doing rows with it, you can only get the benefit from the extra ROM if you grab outside of the camber

Good option for a multi grip bar. I especially like the cable attachment option.

I used to own this bar, but I sold it for a couple of reasons. I didn’t use it as much as I thought I would, and also, it was actually worse for my shoulders than a straight bar. That said, the performance of the bar itself was great, and the value is pretty good. I docked this on value mostly due to the poor knurling. It’s very passive for sure. That’s also part of the reason for the build quality not being perfect. I also wish they would have went with a curved camber so you could benefit from the greater range of motion for more than just one set of handles. Lastly, if you can, make sure you try out a camber bar for a few sessions before buying. I assumed it would be easier on the front of my shoulders, which often get irritated when I bench heavy twice on a week. Even after some time off to give my body a break, the neutral handles of the camber bar irritated the front of my shoulders worse, we all angles of the bar. That seems like that’s not the norm, but don’t be like me and assume this type of bar will help you bench more often, or with less pain or discomfort.

Love using this for Bench. A multigrip bar has saved my shoulders and the extra depth is nice. Build quality is very good.

I sooo wanted the Rogue MG-4CN with stainless sleeves, stainless interchangeable handles and in the shorter version. But with my REP rack and Mutant Metals Snap Backs the clearance wasn’t there. I have a flat football bar that I also use for bench and OHP that provides grip variations. But this bar allows for easy clearance, and a greater depth but only on outside handles. The welds are poorly done, but the Rogue bar didn’t have fantastic looking welds either. It’s a balanced bar, throws in a little variety into training, and pretty well priced. So it gets rotation in my routine and I have it stored in the lower part behind my rack’s rear uprights.

I'm not sure how I did bent over rows before this without losing my mind. Also works great for CGBP. The welds are a little sketchy but I am also not a welder so what do I know?
