This is a cheap and effective way to add variety to your lift. I picked everything for my chain setup at TSC. It took all of 10 minutes to cut them and began using them.

Grabbed 10ft of 5/8” chain for like $20 on FBM. 2 minutes and a sawzall later and I have 2 5ft chain lengths. Keep an eye out for DIY solutions!

A local industrial supplier near me was able to sell 5-foot sections of 5/8” chain, weighing about 20 lbs a piece. On their website you can choose from different finishes of chain to find exactly what you’re looking for. These are bare steel and rust easily. If you’re anywhere near Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, or Michigan, and need chain, McMaster-Carr should be your go to.

I bought a pair of 25 pound chains and was all excited to do conjugate. Unfortunately, I only bench once per week and trying to throw in bands, chains or specialty bars is just a waste of time at that volume. I haven't sold them yet, but they do collect dust.

Bought carabiner and a length of 8mm chain from bunnings and cut into a few lengths (2x 1m, 2x 10cm).
Really handy for cable attachments, connecting bands to a bar etc.
Can also pretend my tricep extensions look cool

Got chains from a local industrial hardware store. The larger size definitely looks cooler. I don’t use them all that much, but when I do they really add to the vibes. Always be sure to have some daisy chains and soft loop straps around when working with the chains.

I am not a big chain guy but they definitely ad weight progressively over the lift. Just not my cup of tea.
